Eyebrow transplant / Istanbul

Every hair has a direction. Every brow has a shape.

Eyebrows frame expression. Small differences in shape, density and direction can change how the whole face looks.

Eyebrow transplantation is not simply about adding more hair. It is about designing a brow that fits your features—and placing each graft with care.

02 Maximum Precision

Millimetres matter here.

The eyebrow is a small area with a complex pattern. Hair direction can shift from the inner brow through the arch to the tail. The angle at which each hair leaves the skin also matters.

That is why eyebrow restoration demands a different design approach from a scalp or beard transplant. The smallest details can become the most visible.

03 Maximum Personalization

Your face. Not a template.

There is no single eyebrow shape that suits everyone. A natural design considers your brow bone, facial proportions, existing hairs, expression and preferences.

We discuss whether the goal is to rebuild a missing section, improve symmetry or add selective fullness. The design should respect what is already there—not overwrite it.

04 Direction before density

The brow changes direction. So must the plan.

Hair in the inner brow often grows differently from hair along the upper and lower borders. Around the arch and tail, orientation can shift again.

Graft placement must account for these changes and aim for a very flat, natural emergence pattern. Simply increasing graft numbers cannot compensate for poor directional planning.

05 The right source

Not all hair behaves like eyebrow hair.

Eyebrow grafts are commonly harvested from a suitable scalp donor area. But scalp hair and eyebrow hair may differ in thickness, texture and growth behaviour.

Donor selection, graft handling and realistic grooming expectations are essential parts of the consultation. Some patients may need regular trimming after transplantation.

06 Suitability

Some brows need restoration. Others need a diagnosis.

Eyebrow transplantation may be considered for naturally sparse eyebrows, selected gaps, or stable areas affected by previous over-plucking or injury.

Sudden eyebrow loss, active inflammation, autoimmune conditions and some forms of scarring hair loss require appropriate medical evaluation. Surgery is not the right first step for everyone.

07 Restoration with limits

Scar tissue changes the conversation.

Eyebrow gaps caused by old injuries or scars may sometimes be considered for transplantation. However, scar tissue can differ in blood supply and texture, affecting suitability and graft survival.

A clinician must assess whether the scar is stable and whether restoration is reasonable. Some cases may require alternative treatment or no surgery.

08 Maximum Expertise

The design starts before the procedure.

We review your photographs, goals, health history and the available donor hair. During clinical consultation, the treatment provider assesses suitability and explains the likely limits.

Our senior hair restoration expert brings 16 years of field experience to the wider planning process. Specific surgical responsibilities remain with appropriately qualified professionals.

09 Maximum Technology

The method must fit the area.

Eyebrow restoration generally involves extracting suitable follicles and implanting them in a carefully designed pattern. Exact extraction and implantation methods are selected by the treating team based on the case.

At Maximum Istanbul, technology is never presented as a shortcut to good design. The chosen method must serve hair direction, donor preservation and patient safety.

10 The procedure

A small area. Detailed work.

Following medical assessment and informed consent, the team confirms the planned brow shape and donor approach. The procedure is performed under an anaesthesia plan determined by the treating clinicians.

The number of grafts, duration and exact stages vary. We will explain the plan and practical instructions for your individual treatment rather than promise a fixed procedure for everyone.

11 Maximum Care

The first weeks matter.

Redness, small crusts and temporary changes in the treated area can occur after eyebrow transplantation. The donor area also needs time to heal.

You will receive specific instructions on washing, avoiding friction, medication if prescribed and when to contact the medical team. Follow your treating provider’s guidance rather than general online timelines.

12 Realistic expectations

New hair takes time.

Transplanted hairs may shed before new growth becomes visible. Brow appearance can change over several months, and the final look is not immediate.

Density, direction, texture and growth rate vary by patient. Transplanted scalp hairs may need regular trimming or styling to blend with native eyebrow hairs.

13 How to judge a result

Look at the direction. Not just the fill.

A convincing eyebrow result should be evaluated up close: shape, hair direction, transition into existing hair, and how the brows look during normal expression.

Before-and-after images should use comparable lighting and camera angles. We only publish documented results with patient permission, and will clearly distinguish work performed before the Maximum brand existed.

14 Maximum Safety

The face deserves clinical judgement.

Eyebrow transplantation is a surgical procedure. Risks can include infection, scarring, poor growth, unnatural direction, asymmetry or the need for further treatment.

A qualified treating provider must explain relevant risks, assess medical suitability and obtain informed consent. A careful decision is more important than an immediate booking.

15 Eyebrow transplant cost

A personal plan. A clear quote.

Eyebrow restoration requires an individual assessment because the size of the area, donor suitability and technical needs differ.

We provide a clear quotation after reviewing your case, including what is and is not included. The €2,500 price shown elsewhere on this website refers to our standard scalp hair transplant treatment—not automatically to eyebrow restoration.

16 Istanbul, organised

Plan the visit around the treatment.

If you are travelling to Istanbul, our team can explain the expected consultation, procedure and aftercare schedule before you arrange flights.

Travel arrangements and any hotel or transfer inclusions for eyebrow transplantation must be confirmed in your personal quotation. Do not assume the scalp treatment itinerary applies unchanged.

18 FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is an eyebrow transplant?

An eyebrow transplant moves suitable hair follicles, usually from a scalp donor area, into carefully planned eyebrow zones. The treating clinician determines whether the procedure is appropriate.

Who is a suitable candidate?

Suitability depends on the cause of eyebrow thinning, skin condition, medical history, donor quality and treatment goals. Active or unexplained hair loss may require diagnosis first.

Can an eyebrow transplant look natural?

Natural-looking results are possible, but they depend on careful design, graft direction, donor-hair characteristics and healing. No specific result can be guaranteed.

Will transplanted eyebrow hair grow like normal eyebrow hair?

When scalp hair is used, it can retain scalp-like growth behaviour. Regular trimming and grooming may be necessary.

Is the eyebrow transplant permanent?

Transplanted follicles can provide long-term growth, but survival and appearance vary, and underlying conditions may affect native hairs. Your provider will explain the realistic outlook.

How many grafts will I need?

There is no universal number. It depends on whether you need small gaps filled, one eyebrow reconstructed or broader coverage, plus the donor supply.

Can you fix over-plucked eyebrows?

Some stable areas of thinning may be suitable. The cause, remaining hair and skin condition must be assessed before recommending surgery.

Can you transplant hair into eyebrow scars?

Sometimes, but scar tissue may reduce suitability and graft survival. An in-person clinical assessment is important.

Does the procedure hurt?

The treating team will discuss anaesthesia and comfort measures. You may experience discomfort during recovery; individual experiences vary.

How long does recovery take?

Visible redness and crusting may occur early on, but the course varies. The provider will give specific care instructions and advise when normal activities can resume.

When will I see the final result?

Growth develops over months rather than days. Early shedding may occur, and the final appearance takes time to assess.

How much does an eyebrow transplant cost in Turkey?

Price depends on your individual plan and inclusions. Request a quote after assessment; Maximum’s published €2,500 scalp treatment price does not automatically apply.
