The Maximum process
Your hair transplant. Step by step.
A hair transplant should never feel like a leap into the unknown. From your first photos to your first wash in Istanbul and the months that follow, we explain what happens, who is involved and what comes next.
One carefully planned treatment. Clear guidance before, during and after your stay.
02 The journey at a glance
Six steps. No guesswork.
- 01
Send your photos and tell us what you want to improve.
- 02
Receive an initial assessment and discuss medical suitability.
- 03
Confirm your treatment plan and arrange your Istanbul visit.
- 04
Meet the team for your in-person consultation and hairline design.
- 05
Complete the procedure with medical oversight in a private hospital setting.
- 06
Attend your first wash, return home and stay in touch throughout recovery.
03 First contact
It starts with your hair. Not a sales pitch.
Send clear photos of your hairline, the top of your head, the crown and the donor area at the back and sides. Tell us your age, how long you have experienced hair loss, any previous transplant history and what you would like to change.
Our team uses this information to start a conversation about your goals and the possibilities. Photographs can help with an initial estimate, but they cannot replace a physical examination or establish final medical suitability.
We may ask for additional photos or medical information before discussing a preliminary graft range or treatment approach.
04 Suitability & plan
The right plan begins with the right questions.
We look beyond the area you want to fill. The pattern of hair loss, the quality and capacity of your donor area, your existing hair and the likelihood of further loss all matter.
You will also be asked about relevant medical conditions, medication, allergies and previous procedures. Certain cases need medical reports, specialist clearance or further examination. Sometimes the safest advice is to postpone treatment or consider alternatives.
Before travel, we explain the proposed approach and its limitations. The final graft count, method and treatment decision are confirmed only after in-person assessment by the responsible clinical team.
05 Travel & arrival
Arrive with a plan already in place.
Once your treatment is confirmed, our coordination team helps organize the agreed dates, hotel stay and airport transfers. International patients commonly arrive the day before their procedure.
We coordinate transfers from Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) where included in the confirmed booking. You receive practical arrival information, contact details and instructions before you fly.
Your exact appointment times, hospital location and departure arrangements are confirmed individually. Please do not book a return flight until the team has checked the schedule with you.
06 In-person consultation
The design is personal. The decision is clinical.
At your appointment, the team reviews your medical information, examines the scalp and donor area, and discusses the hairline, coverage priorities and realistic density.
Our senior hair-transplant expert brings 16 years of experience to the planning and design process, working with the responsible doctor and treatment team. A natural-looking result requires attention to facial proportions, future hair loss, donor preservation and the direction of existing hair.
The final treatment plan and consent are discussed before the procedure. Where the clinical assessment changes the original estimate, the team explains why.
07 Treatment day
One day. Many important decisions.
Your treatment day begins with the required clinical checks and preparation. The medical team confirms suitability, explains anesthesia and reviews the agreed plan before the procedure starts.
Local anesthesia is used for the procedure. Optional Deep Sleep Anesthesia may be discussed separately if available and medically appropriate; it is not full-procedure general anesthesia.
Grafts are extracted from the donor area according to the agreed plan. Recipient-site preparation and implantation follow the method chosen for your case. For suitable scalp patients, Maximum’s standard approach combines Sapphire FUE and DHI where each method is appropriate.
The responsible doctor and qualified team carry out their respective clinical roles in the private hospital environment. The team monitors comfort and progress throughout the session; breaks and duration vary by case.
Before you leave, you receive clear instructions about medication, sleeping position, protecting the grafts and whom to contact if you have concerns.
08 First wash & departure
The first days matter.
Your first post-procedure review and wash are arranged according to your individual treatment schedule. The team checks the scalp, demonstrates gentle washing and explains the first days of recovery.
After the appointment, your return transfer is coordinated around your confirmed flight time. The exact timing of the wash and departure depends on the procedure and your travel itinerary.
You leave Istanbul with written aftercare guidance and a direct way to reach the team when questions come up.
09 Maximum care
Our involvement does not end at the airport.
The first weeks are about healing and protecting the transplanted area. Scabbing, temporary shedding and changes in scalp sensation may occur as recovery progresses.
Our coordination team remains available for questions and photo updates, with 24/7 patient support for time-sensitive concerns. Follow-up guidance helps you understand what is expected and when a clinician should review something unusual.
If you develop severe pain, worsening redness, fever, unusual swelling or another concerning symptom, seek prompt medical assessment rather than waiting for a routine photo check.
The visible result develops gradually. Many patients notice new growth over the following months, with maturation continuing for approximately 12–18 months. Individual timelines and outcomes vary.
10 Transparent value
€2,500. The standard is included.
Our €2,500 scalp hair-transplant treatment is designed as one complete standard rather than a menu of technique upgrades. For eligible patients, it includes the agreed combined Sapphire FUE + DHI approach, PRP, the stated Graft-Tech adjunct, a coordinated 3-day / 2-night stay, agreed airport transfers and aftercare support.
Your written quotation must confirm the exact inclusions, eligibility, hotel arrangements and any exceptions.
We discuss your individual treatment needs before a reservation. No fixed graft number or result is guaranteed.

13 Good questions
Know what you are agreeing to.
Who will assess me in person, and who performs each clinical stage? What is the plan for my donor area? What can realistically be achieved in one session? What happens if the in-person assessment changes the plan?
Ask what is included in the written quotation, how anesthesia is managed, who to contact after you travel home and how complications are escalated. Clear answers are part of a responsible treatment process.
14 FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How does the hair transplant process start?
It starts with clear photos, your goals and a brief medical history. We use these details for an initial assessment, followed by an in-person clinical examination before treatment.
Can you confirm the number of grafts from photos?
Photos can support a preliminary range, but the final number depends on examination of the donor area, recipient needs and medical suitability.
How many days should I stay in Istanbul?
Our standard international itinerary is planned around three days and two nights. Exact timing can change with your flight, medical needs and appointment schedule.
Is the hair transplant performed in a hospital?
The procedure is arranged in a private hospital setting with the responsible medical team. The exact provider and location should be identified in your booking documents.
Will I meet the senior expert?
The senior expert is involved in the consultation and personalized planning process. The doctor and qualified clinical team retain their respective medical responsibilities.
Is the procedure painful?
Local anesthesia is used to manage discomfort, but sensations vary. The initial injections can be uncomfortable. Ask the team about available anesthesia options and their medical suitability.
Is Deep Sleep Anesthesia included?
Deep Sleep is an optional approach subject to medical assessment and availability. Any extra cost and the exact protocol must be confirmed in your quotation.
Do you use Sapphire FUE and DHI together?
For suitable scalp patients, our standard approach combines Sapphire FUE and DHI according to the treatment plan. The team confirms the most appropriate technique for each area.
What happens the day after the procedure?
A review and first-wash instruction session are scheduled according to your individual itinerary. You receive guidance for cleaning, protecting the grafts and traveling home.
Can I fly home immediately after the first wash?
Many patients travel home after their scheduled review, but departure must be coordinated with the team and your individual circumstances. Do not assume a fixed departure time.
When will I see results?
New growth often becomes noticeable after several months. Results continue developing through roughly 12–18 months, and individual timelines vary.
What if I have questions after I return home?
Our patient-support team is available for follow-up questions and photo updates. Urgent or worsening symptoms require timely medical evaluation.

The standard quote covers the stated treatment and travel coordination inclusions, but flights, optional anesthesia and case-specific extras may not be included. Always review your written quotation.
