A hair transplant is a medical procedure. The environment matters because it supports proper assessment, infection-control processes, clinical oversight and access to the medical professionals responsible for your care.
Your treatment takes place within a private hospital environment, subject to the provider’s clinical processes and your individual medical assessment. A polished reception area is welcome — but it is not a substitute for sound medical practice.
Maximum Istanbul coordinates the international patient journey. Medical procedures are performed by the appropriately authorised healthcare provider and its clinical team. We describe these responsibilities clearly rather than treating them as interchangeable.
04 The people behind the process
Experience belongs in the room.
The senior hair-transplant expert involved in the Maximum approach brings 16 years of experience to consultation, planning and the key stages of the patient journey. That experience is relevant because good outcomes depend on judgement, not just equipment.
The treating doctor and clinical team remain responsible for medical assessment and the procedures they are authorised to perform. Roles, consent and any anaesthesia requirements are explained before treatment.
Our approach is deliberately personal: a maximum of two hair-transplant patients per day, allowing time for discussion, planning and individual attention.
05 Two international airports
Land. We help with the next step.
Istanbul has two major international airports: Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW). We can coordinate airport transfers as part of the confirmed treatment arrangements.
Your coordinator shares the relevant pickup instructions before arrival, including the meeting point and the contact details you need. Transfer times vary with the airport, traffic and the final treatment and hotel locations.
If you are unsure which airport to choose, ask before booking your flight. The best option depends on your route and confirmed itinerary.
06 Hotel & local transfers
Your stay should be simple.
International patients normally spend three days and two nights in Istanbul for the planned treatment journey. Accommodation and the local transfers included in your confirmed arrangement are organised around your appointment schedule.
You receive the confirmed hotel name, address, check-in details and transfer plan before travelling. Hotel selection may vary according to availability and the agreed booking.
For a typical three-day schedule, arrival is followed by the treatment day, then an initial wash or check before departure, where clinically appropriate. Your personal schedule may differ.
07 At the hospital
Your appointment. A clear plan.
When you arrive for treatment, the team reviews the medical information required for your care and confirms the plan with you. The clinical team assesses suitability, explains the proposed procedure and obtains the necessary consent.
Hairline design and graft distribution should reflect your donor area, existing hair and longer-term needs. Combined Sapphire FUE + DHI is the planned approach for suitable scalp cases; the actual method remains subject to clinical judgement.
After treatment, you receive instructions for the first days of recovery and details of the follow-up process. Your coordinator remains available for practical questions, while medical concerns are escalated to the treating team.
08 Before you fly
No surprises at arrival.
Before your trip, we help you understand what information is needed for the preliminary assessment, what your booking covers and what the next steps will be.
Your pre-travel checklist should confirm the treatment dates, hospital address, hotel, transfer instructions, the agreed total price and any separately charged services. Medical preparation instructions come from the treating team.
An assessment based on photographs is preliminary. The final decision about suitability and the treatment plan is made after the appropriate clinical evaluation.
09 One complete standard
€2,500. The treatment standard, not a location surcharge.
Our stated €2,500 complete scalp hair-transplant treatment brings together the planned procedure, standard included care and coordinated travel elements described in your confirmed offer.
We do not charge a separate technique upgrade simply because DHI is appropriate within the combined Sapphire FUE + DHI approach. Any exclusions, optional services or changes to the individual plan must be disclosed before payment.
Always review your written confirmation for the exact hotel, transfer coverage, medical inclusions, payment terms and any additional charges. Flights and personal spending should not be assumed included.
10 Maximum care
Your support does not end at the exit.
Your journey does not end when you leave the hospital. The first wash, practical instructions and follow-up communication are important parts of a well-organised experience.
Maximum Istanbul offers 24/7 coordination support for patients. Urgent medical symptoms require prompt contact with the treating medical team or appropriate emergency services; messaging a coordinator is not a replacement for emergency care.
